You found her on the census with John McCALL in 1860 and 1870; however, in 1880 his wife is listed as Lydia (at least she was doing the housekeeping). So am thinking Jane may have passed away between 1870 and 1880, or they divorced late in life. Also interested in marriage record for John McCALL and Lydia. Again, since Jane was with John in 1870, the marriage had to be between 1870 and 1880. And finally, is there a burial record for John McCALL (doctor). On Dallas County Death register for 1883-1893 he is listed as the doctor for an individual who passed away on 2 Feb 1887 so he was alive at that point in time. My mother seems to think New Hope a likely place for him to be buried but she's never seen a stone there for him. Don't have a clue as to the maiden names of Jane and Lydia and thus far can't find any record of John McCALL in Arkansas, Tennessee or his birth state of South Carolina prior to his arrival in Missouri in time for the 1860 census. Thank you, Brenda Goldberg Hello Brenda - Source: Book "B", page 48: 15 Apr 1875 John L. McCall - Esber (?)
