(1998): Page 165 3 Jul 1896 J A Mathis - Ida C Stinecipher Marriage performed by I W Cranfill MG That's all the info. provided in the marriage book, however, I have James William MATHIS in my database as the son of James Alexander MATHIS, born March 16, 1847; died January 19, 1922; buried at Reynolds Cemetery, Dallas Co., MO, and Synthe Ann WATKINS, born March 5, 1842 in Kentucky and died in 1919. I know they had at least one other child: Sarah J. MATHIS, born March 12, 1870 and died October 13, 1923. Sarah married Henry Thomas SCOTT, a half-brother to my great grandmother, Cora Elizabeth SCOTT. Regards, Rick Gregg
