There are no GREEN or LOPEMAN surnames in the index. There is only one GREEN family listed in the 1860 Dallas Co. census. It is for J. M. GREEN, age 35, TN, and family. There are no LOPEMANs but there is one LOUFMAN, James E., age 25, Ky, physician, and wife. In the 1870 Dallas Co. census, there are no LOPEMAN but there are three LOAFMAN listings. There are six GREEN listings. Benton Township 10-10 150-150 GREEN Margaret 69 NC John 26 Il Farmer BURCH Luther 20 Mo That's the only Margaret GREEN that I saw in the 1870 census.
