He served in the Civil War 5 Jul 1861 - 10 Jul 1964. PVT, Co. E., 6th Reg., MO CAV., Fremont's Bat., MO CAV 1870 Polk Co, MO Census 1880 Wise Co, TX Census 1890 Special Census, Lockwood, Grant Twp, Dade, MO 1900 Dade Census He m Elizabeth C. STUDDARD on 29 Apr 1866 Dade, by J.H. HAMPTON, Book 4, Page 53 (Her name was erroneously listed as STUBBLEFIELD). She was b ca 1838 TN and d 23 Aug 1885 Walnut Grove, Greene Co, MO., d/o Thomas and Sarah STUDDARD. She was the sister of James Calloway STUDDARD who m Hulda Minerva J.C. STOCKTON Children: Lillie M. Ohio, b May 1870 Dade William Lewis (My cousin's line) Nathaniel COleman Effie-Viola-Della Luther Bascom Otis Jentry *(I have no idea what the Hulda Minerva J.C. STOCKTON means - which was her name, etc ... same with the Effie-Viola-Della ... sounds to me like those are three different people, but I have no idea.)
