Does anyone know of any cases of polio diagnosed on or around 1935 in Dade County? My mother lost a brother and a father and she and a sister became severely ill around that time. Six siblings and the mother did not become sick. Doctor said they had a contaminated well and had gotten typhoid. Later a doctor said my mother had PLS. Now a doctor says that in 1935 she likely had polio undiagnosed, based on the history of what happened to her then and how she is now. You may say this is not a question for this list, but my genealogy group says our medical histories are a part of our genealogy. I would appreciate any help anyone can provide. Helen S.
