I am a Johnson and I do have family from the area.. Dade, Greene and Lawrence Counties but I don't think I'm related to this Johnson family, at least I have not come across any George Washington Johnson, starting with my grandpa: Fred b.1884>John Elbert>Sanford>Jacob... they were from Virginia, Grainger Co. Tn & Missouri.
