I have four questions....first, does anyone on this list live in Dade County? I understand that Hiram Amos Cantrell is buried in Fair Play....does anyone have cemetery books for Dade County, and is Fair Play in Dade County? I understand that Dadeville was burned during the civil war and one of Peter Cantrell's son's were killed.....Does anyone know where John CAntrell is buried?..............Also, Nancy Cantrell was married to a Stockton, is anyone on this list descend from the Stockton's? Hiram Cantrell was in the civil war but moved to California around 1901 where he died.....I understand one of his descendants that stayed in Dade County has a picture of him in his civil war uniform.......

I don't live in Dade Co. but I am near enough to go up there often. I believe someone else mentioned that Fair Play is not in Dade Co so we'll have to check another county for that one. Can you narrow down WHICH Peter Cantrell you need? I have 7 Peters in my file. And I have 35 John Cantrells, so again, can you give any sort of dates on these guys? I have a Nancy Cantrell married to a WILLIAM W. STOCKTON. He is born abt. 1836 in MO and died after 1870 in Aldrich, MO. I have that Hiram Amos Cantrell, born bet. 1863-1864 in MO died 1/29/1929 in Aldrich, MO, but I don't know where he is buried. If you find out, will you let me know, please? Thanks.
