    3. I thought I would add my 2 cents on this topic. I do volunteer lookups for Eastland County, Texas, no charge, from the material I have here at home. Periodically, I have to go to the courthouse on business. When I go, I take some of the queries I have received and take a few extra minutes to look them up. If I find something, I make copies or note how the inquirer can make a specific request. I feel like in a small way I am repaying all those people who have done lookups for me and in the process learn some interesting history of the county. And I have made some wonderful cyberspace friends.
