Hello, I am new to the list, and thought I would just throw my Dade county names out there, just in case.... Hardy LASATER / LASSITER (and variants), b ca 1825 NC + Sarah Cassandra WALKER, b 3 Jan 1831 TN Hardy was the son of Canon LASATER. Sarah Cassandra "Cassie" WALKER was the daughter of Elijah WALKER and first wife, Matilda McMURRY. Sarah and Hardy probably married in Dickson county TN, between 1850 and 1854. Their first known child was born in 1854, in Missouri, so we can presume that they were living in Dade county by that time. They appear in the 1860, 1870 and 1880 Dade Co MO census, in Center township. Sarah appears as a widow in the same township in 1900, as head of household. Sarah appears in the 1910 census, same township, in the home of her son Allen. Sarah died in 1911 in Center township, Dade county, Missouri.
