I Have not found a connection to them. I have studied them and meet a few. However, I dislike burning bridges before they are crossed. .So be that as it may I would just like to say that if they are it is back before my 3rd Great Grand Father James since there has been discussion that the Mitchell's of Dade County could have been related back before they came to Dade. Being the Geneology Enthusist I am I know that the further back in time we travel the closer we get to being related to someone it is just a matter of how. Fred was Married to Ida Jane Shipley first on Oct 25, 1892 in Dade County and had three children (She is paced in the Greenfield Cemetery) when she died he remarried to Anna Belle Culver a couple of years later on Sept. 19, 1904. She remarried to a Washington Messicah Cotner before she passed away on June 11, 1924 and was placed in the Greenfield Cemetery. Fred then remarried to Martha Melzora Cook on April 30, 1927 in Greenfield, Dade, Missouri where he passed away Feb. 23, 1938 and Martha lived on until Nov. 9, 1952, however this is what gets me someone on the net has her as being Buried in Shreveport, Caddo, Louisana...that is a long ways from home and at that age. I have a descendant from that line I'm in contact with and I will have to ask her how this came about.
