Tammy, By chance can you see if there is a Leila Mabel Courtney? She would have been a senior in 1928 or 1929. She was born in Greenfield in 1904, and should have been there during her senior year. Lavon (as it is spelled in the yearbook) does not have a picture but Ella Dean does appear on the front row of the Freshman class picture. I would be willing to try to scan a copy to you if you would like. Later on page 36 La Von (as it is spelled there) is in the back row of the Girls' Glee club and Ella Dean is on the front row.
