    3. Hi All, Has anyone figured how these EVANS who are buried in Cedarville Cemetary "mesh"? At a glance: Eugene & Eliza could have been sibs, Albert F. and Walter E. could have been twins and sibs to Ora and Ralph EVANS, Eugene A. 1859-1919 Eliza S. 1865-1937 Albert F. 1890-1941 Ora Edward 1885-1944, Ralph Sherman 1895-1965 m. Laura Ethel FARMER Walter E. 1890-1964 and buried next to Walter E. we have: SMITH, John b.1856, d.1936, Son of A. J. SMITH & Nancy TAYLOR. And for this 80 year old Chap; Does anyone have a spouse or two? My interest: a great aunt E.C. "Kate" SMITH, "widow" in 1900 census. When I first noticed this, I mused, unhuh, A "John" Smith no doubt, however it seems that later in the 1920-30s, some SMITH cousins taunted some HEWITT cousins in Parsons, Kansas that they were related, while the HEWITTs held their "noses in the air". ie. I quote a recently demised HEWITT first cousin: "They(SMITHS) passed out religious leaflets, on street corners in downtown Parsons!!!" Thanks Jim Adams
