He later married to Laura Hammons in Dade County Sept. of 1898 but he already had three children by then, William, Anna and Birdie/Bertie. So it is apparent that he was married earlier, to whom. The Reich family lived around the Rock Prairie area of Dade County in 1880. His father was William B. Reich and believe his mother was Mary A. Campbell. There seems to be a problem solving Birdie/Bertie, whether she was actually a child of Laura. In 1900 Birdie was 2 years old and would be three in December. Then in 1910 another Birdie shows up as only ten years old which would place her born ca 1900 and Laura's child. Did the first Birdie die and Laura had a child and renamed it Birdie for the one who passed away??? Any help here will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
