Waggoner Vance's parentss were both born in North Carolina, I have the connection way back. I am researching my great grandfather's sisters and brothers. Last week I began Elizabeth Catherine Waggoner's whereabouts. She was born 1850 in Davidson Co.,NC. The Waggoners were living in Dade Co.,Missouri in 1870. I found a Elizabeth Waggoner marrying a William M. Vance there 1876. I haven't had the time to go look up census records at the library to see if her parents were both born in NC.
