This is from the cemetery records: Vaughn Cemetery Pickett Family Cemetery Young Cemetery Vaughn Cemetery was selectred as one of the Cemeteries for receiving reinterred graves from Cemeteries which were covered by the building of Lake Stockton. >From the Cemetery Relocation Final Report #1 published by the Army Corps of Engineers in March of 1966, information about the graves relocated have breen extracted and included in the Vaughn Cemetery portion of this publication. The cemeteries listed in the publication are Crisp Duncan #1, Duncan #2 (DUNC #2), Fanning (FAN), Fox Seybert, Thornton, Mullen Cooper, Miller, Rowland and Downing. Vaughn Cemetery Dade County, Missouri Center Township Section 32 - Township 32 - Range 26 >From Greenfield take Highway 160 East to the edge of town and turn north on "H" Highway. Follow it north approximately five miles. The cemtery will be on the east side of the road up on a knoll. Can be seen from the road and is well maintenanced. This cemetery was a little hard to divide, so read the instruction on each section carefully. I was there about a year and 1/2 ago. None of the road are marked. Where is said that it can be seen from the road, that not so true anymore. We went looking for it and a new house was being constructed in front of the "Vaughn Cemetery" rod iron arched sign. So if you feel that you have gone to far you probably have. We had to turn around and ask directions. I copied the information from the Spingfield lib. but only copied the grave site that were pertaining to my family. When you have to feed in a dime for every copy it got old pretty fast. >From the amount I have copied I don't have any Courtney's in my copies. Sorry.
