    1. [MODADE] 1850/1920 Transcribed Dade Co Census Online!!!
    2. Hello, Am I the last person to realize that the entire 1920 Dade County Census has now been transcribed in household order, indexed and the whole works online by LeAnn Kennedy and is available at at the USGenWeb site???? It is HERE!!!! ftp://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/mo/dade/1920/ Along side the 1850 transcription I know we've posted here before: ftp://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/mo/dade/1850/ This is a companion to the 1850 census at the County Website, which is organized by household. The indexes are by first and last name, not household for the UsgenWeb census versions. The county website version is accessed by the links for surnames on the main page of the county website (go on down a ways) here: http://www.rootsweb.com/~modade/modade.htm The 1920 census has apparently been there for a year or so. This is all in addition to the free online census images for Missouri 1830, 1840, 1850 and 1850 slave schedules here: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~mackley/census_page.htm You can use the transcribed versions above to look at the "real thing" in this link. FYI, the state index for the UsGenweb Project is here: ftp://ftp.us-census.org/pub/usgenweb/census/ My best, Janet (Baugh) Hunter
