Powell Robinson then married Mary Kyle Delp, 25 Sept 1859 in Hawkins Co TN. Thomas K. 2 Oct 1880 Hawkins Co TN (1880 Hawkins Co TN Census) Ida. T. 1882 Hawkins Co. TN (1880 Hawkins Co TN census) David Marshall Courtney May 1885 Hawkins Co TN. Maggie E. Sept 1887 ( on the 1900 Dade Co MO census says born in TN, probably Hawkins Co.) On the 1900 Dade Co MO census says Sarah had 5 children and all 5 living. The family must have moved to Dade Co MO. shortly after Maggie birth. Sarah Courtney bought land from her father Powell Robinson in Aug 1886. David may have died in Hawkins Co TN and that may be why the family moved to Dade Co. No head stone has been found for him. Even though there is an unmark grave next to Sarah's headstone. Sarah, David and Thomas own land north of Greenfield on road H area. I visit there this pass May, I stop to talk with a lady where I thought that Sarah might have own land. The woman I talk to remembered going to school with David's children, but none of the Courtney's live in the area now To save you some time. There is no will for Sara Ellen or Powell Robinson. Sara gave her land to Ida before she died. Ida never married. I have not found a paper trail for David Jessie, all land transaction were in Sara's name. In Feb of 1998 I corresponded with Chuck Courtney of Austin, Texas. He claims David Jessie is the son of Russell and Elizabeth (Henry) Courtney. David had one bother named James Polk, there may be more, but I have not done any more research on this line. David should be listed with his family on the 1870 Hawkins Co TN census.
