I am still trying to no avail to find the parents of William Lavender Burnett, b. 1820 Grainger, TN married Louisa (?) then Annie Watkins Gentry. Moved to Dade County in the 1840s I believe and is buried in Collins Cemetery. His son John Martin Burnett, b. Stockton, MO in 1858 married Alice Ann Tilman b.1861 daughter of Thomas Tilman and Nancy Margaret Ann Farris. John's son Larry Oren Burnett m Edith Bell I have more information if any of you connect.
