    1. Re: [MODADE] Fair View School 1941
    2. Dear Fellow List Members; I recently got a photo of the teacher and students attending Fair View School in 1941. My Mother and her brothers; Finley McNeil Preston, Philip Thomas Preston, and Evelynn Augusta Preston are in the photo, but I have no clue of who else is in the photo, and would like to find out. I have scanned the photo, which is in okay shape (it had been rolled up). Since I can't have attachments on this e-mail, will gladly send a copy to anyone interested, and who might be able to help identify any of the folks in the picture. Let me know the maximom size you can handle in an attachment, so I can shrink it down if I have to. I scanned it in at 600dpi, so, as is, it's a little over 1 meg in size. My best guess, by knowing where my Mom lived at the time, is that Fair View School must have been somewhere in Northern Center Township. My Grandparents, Tom and Alma McLemore Preston, were living just East of H Hiway, just a few miles North of Greenfield, if that helps anybody. Or, if someone could correct me on this point. Many thanks, Bob Wilson, KC KS

Concerning your death certificates question, Dade followed the rest of the state of Missouri, to my knowledge there were none other issued although from 1883-1885 the state of Missouri required the counties to keep a written record. I have a copy of this book as well. Tammy

The info. is based upon what family members have given to the funeral homes. Most entries have quite a bit of info. Tammy
