Jones (married Tempa (Rosa) Anna Brand) was born in 1872 in Crawford County and his father was Ferguson McDonald Jones (I have been told by relatives) and his mother was Mary or Caroline. John W. was orphaned young or his mother died and he was left with relatives. I know he had brothers and sisters but not sure who they are. I believe that my great-grandfather was named McDonald because my dad's middle name was McDonald. My grandpa's death certificate was so misspelled, it doesn't help much. His Obit said his parents names were Caroline and McDonald. I have never found John W. Jones in a census as there are so many:( Helpppppp!!!!!!! Juanita Jones Johnson
