Hello, I am hoping one of you can help me out. First: I'd like to thank Brian J. Oster for the wonderful marriage information he has posted on his web page. I am attempting to look up all of the information he has on Ferguson marriages in Crawford Co. and I found some of my folks. One of my 4th g-uncles, Rev. William G. Ferguson, had a son, B. S. Ferguson, who was born 1835 in Allen Co., KY. I found a Bethuel S. Ferguson in Ozark Hills Friends and Neighbors, who died in 1866 and is buried in Steelville Cem. I assume that was B. S. who was the son of Rev. William G. Ferguson. I had some information from the IGI showing B. S. married a Jamison. I found some Fergusons living with Mary Jamison in the 1870 Crawford Co., MO census. She was dwelling 31-31 on page 644. The Fergusons were Margie, 27, female, white, MO, and ?Brittie?, 5, male. I could never really make out the son's name and was guessing at Brittie. I found her again in 1880, still living with Mary Jamison, but the son wasn't with them then. Today I found these entries in the marriage database: Page 164 of Crawford Co. Marriage Book: Bernil S. (Berl S.; Burls S.) Ferguson of Bland, Gasconade Co., MO; over 21; Arizona Munday of Cuba, Crawford Co., MO; over 18; 10 Dec 1892 license; married on 10 Dec 1892 by C. Brough, MG Cuba at Cuba, Crawford Co., MO. I am wondering if Bernil S. (or Berl S. or Burls S.) Ferguson could be the son of Ellen M. "Margie" Jamison and Bethuel Ferguson. If anyone has any information about these folks, I'd be so happy to hear from you. Thank you. Best wishes, Sharon Clark Fort Worth, TX [email protected]
