My father Matthias Frederick AKA "Butch" and "Bud" Seifried (born February 29, 1904) lived in Cuba in Crawford County from about 1951 until a few years before his death in 1980. His parents were Frederick "Fritz" Seifried and Annie (nee Feen) Seifried. Fritz's parents were Jakob (sometimes spelled Jacob) Seifried and Margaretha (nee Busch) Seifried. We do have some documentation that Jakob received a land grant for property in the area of Cuba. I believe Jakob died March 3, 1907. My mother was Eileen Mary (nee Naughton) Seifried (March 9, 1911 to May 29, 1968). I also lived in Cuba from my birth in 1952 until 1973. SEIFRIED FEEN NAUGHTON WHITE
