We know very little about the Phillips Family,After Julia married Besson most of the children supposedly were born in Leasburg, according to family members the Besson's were "tie hackers" AT a place on Hinch Rd that they called" Besson Holler" we have a picture on Lynford &Juliawith a saw& axe they have a child with them so about 1900? Lynford's parents were farming in the Elmont,Franklin Co area at this time although we understand they all worked at this also. Thomas Phillips farmed in the Leasburg area as did the Walls family.When Lynford died the children all but 3 were put in a orphanage in Ok of course this all leads to some rather solid brick walls so if anyone has any little clue that we could use we sure would appreciate It Thank You!
