Arthur Tomlinson was b. in England in the 1820s to William/Ann Tomlinson, and had a brother named Robert. They came to the US in 1839, and settled in Dubuque, IA. Ann Ellis Tomlinson was b. ca. 1828 in Saratoga, NY to John and Sarah Adams Ellis. They were from Kent, England. Arthur and Ann are found in Beetown, WI in the 1850 census, in Dubuque, IA in 1860, and Center, Franklin, MO in 1870 with Robert. I lose track of them after that.
