They do have records in Crawford County MO, but Missouri didn't have a requirement for birth records before 1910, I think. My own father was born in Dent Co, MO in 1930 and has no birth record. My great-grandparents were married in 1900 in Crawford County but I had to go look in their marriage license book to find the record. There may be an index around but I'm not sure of that; will check my lists to see what I've got. I have one starting about 1893 in Dent County and another similarly dated one for Maries County but they are indexes only; not the actual records.
