Hi All Wishing you and your families a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year from the Australian Denton Clan Billy R F Denton Jr
Genealogists, particularly those interested in the use of technology, will meet in St. Louis from 22-24 January 2004 for NGS GENTECH 2004. December 1 is the deadline for the "early bird" registration discount. Since 1993, GENTECH has been the national conference for people interested in GENealogy and TECHnology. In 2002 GENTECH strengthened its infrastructure and expanded its role by becoming a division of the National Genealogical Society. Each year the conference has featured a panel of nationally known speakers who have addressed themselves to every aspect of the use of computer and Internet technology to support genealogical research - to meet the needs of advanced users as well as those just beginning to use technology in their research. This year there will be a special Librarian's Pre-Conference at NGS GENTECH Thursday, January 22, 2004. Details of this special Pre-Conference are at: www.slcl.lib.mo.us/slcl/sc/gentech04/precon-schedule.htm. Information on the entire NGS GENTECH conference can be found at: http://www.eshow2000.com/ngsgentech/register_now.cfm or at the St. Louis Genealogical Society website: www.stlgs.org/gentech2004 John Konvalinka, CGRS(sm), CGL(sm) www.konvalinka.com CGRS (Certified Genealogical Records Specialist) and CGL (Certified Genealogical Lecturer) are service marks of the Board for the Certification of Genealogists <http://www.BCGcertification.org> used under license by certified persons after periodic competency evaluations.

James, The Turnbough Cemetery is located at Davisville MO. It is on the Dillard-Davisville Road. I found a listing in Ozark Hills Friends and Neighbors that has her. Following is a little of what is written. Andrews, Lutisia "Tishie" Metcalf nee Turner 1868-1923 (or Feburary 1926); m. 1. Monroe "Roe" Andrews (2-23-1865-12-7-1906, bur. Sunlight Cem. near Belgrade, Washington Co.) It continues on about her children but I wanted to make sure this is the person that you are looking for. I have never been to the Sunlight Cem, nor do I know exactly where it is. I hope this has been a help. Hello, I am trying to find male descendants of Obadiah FERGUSON and his brother, Rev. William G. Ferguson. These gentlemen were sons of Catherine GILMORE and William FERGUSON of Albemarle Co., VA. The Ferguson family first moved to Sumner Co., TN and then to Barren (later Allen) Co., KY. William died a little after 1810 in Barren Co. and Catherine then married Benjamin Bailey, a local Baptist minister, and lived to be about 97 years old. Three of their children moved to Crawford Co., MO: Elizabeth Ferguson MERRITT RICHEY, and sons, Obadiah and William G. Both of the sons had sons, and I'd love to find some male FERGUSON descendants to participate in the Y-chromosome DNA study taking place at Family Tree DNA, familytreedna.com. Female descendants cannot participate. William G. Ferguson had sons: T. J., Simeon W., Eugene A., and William Herman. Obadiah had sons William Henry, G. Bruce, and W. B. I think William Henry only had daughters, but Bruce had sons, Carl and Lee. If anyone has any knowledge of any of these folks, please contact me. I'll be happy to share what I have. Thank you, and have a good evening. Best wishes, Sharon Clark Fort Worth, TX [email protected]

I have Mahala Prewitt, daughter of Austin Prewitt and Sarah Cobbe born 1846 Jefferson Co, MO. I also have a marriage record for a Mahala Prewitt and a William Parker Campbell on 4 Feb 1863 in Crawford County, Missouri. Does any one know if this is the same Mahala, or two different ones? If it is two different ones, does anyone know anything about the one that married William Parker Campbell? Thank you so much for any help you can give. Ann
