    3. The Daily Post, Jefferson City, Mo., Monday, August 7, 1916 Mrs. Priscilla Stone, mother of Contractor T.J. Stone and former Prosecuting Attorney, R. Price Stone, died last evening at 6:45 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Samuel Sone, 1404 West Main Street, after a long illness. Mrs. Stone was born in Belleville, Ill., January 31, 1837. She was married to James A. Stone in 1853 and they came to Missouri to reside. The union was blessed with five children, four of whom T. J. of this city, R. Her husband joined the Confederate army shortly after the outbreak of the Civil War and was killed at the battle of Helena, Ark. Mrs. Stone made her home at Russellville, Mo., up to 31 years ago when she moved to this city to reside. Twenty-one years ago she went to her daughter’s home and had been living there since that time. The funeral will take place tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock at the Sone home. Rev. Hardesty of Middletown, Mo., an old friend of the family, will conduct the last sad rites. Burial will be made in Riverview Cemetery. Mrs. Stone was a splendid type of woman. During her long illness she bore her suffering with Christian fortitude. She had a wide acquaintance.
