Becky, Thanks for the response. I was looking for any information that might help me trace back Joseph DeLong (Delange). Census shows Joseph was from Holland area. Benjamin Sanning was married to Katie DeLong. Katie's parents are Joeseph Delong and Mary Mayens. Mary's parents are John Maynes and Margaretha Bruns. John's parents were Georgius Franciscus Maeijens. I will note that the Maynes name started as Meaijens in Zeeland, Nederlands and was used around Cole County as Mayens, Maynes and Mains. I have quite a bit of information on the Lootens/Talken families coming from Belgium/Germany, Sanning/Bruning families coming from Germany and the Mayens coming from Zeeland. Once I have tracked Joseph DeLong back to Holland or Zeeland, I will have all my ancestors that came to America traced to their original lands. Although the census states where Joseph DeLong is from, I would like confirmation by another source. Sorry about the long note.
