Does anyone know if Cole County (or nearby) had a clock maker during the early 1950's? I know of a clock in my family that was brought from Cole County, Missouri to Carson County, Texas during that period. There is no label that I can find on it but I was told that it came from Cole County. I am just curious as to the possible maker. Let me check the old directories next time I'm at the museum. I'll see who was in the clock-making business in the 1950's.
