Jim: I am now writing a book that details the lives of the Rakers/Rackers from the time they came to the United States until the last generation that died. No living people in this book, but it will detail to some degree all who lived earlier. The name was originally Rakers, the first instance I can find that the letter "c" was added is in an 1879 pew rental book from St. Peter Church in Jefferson City.
