    3. Russellville Rustler, Friday, December 13, 1907 Edwin P. Linhardt, a young man 28 years old, died at the home of his mother last Sunday of lockjaw and blood poison which developed from an injury to one hand which he sustained last Thursday while operating a corn shredder. Dr. C.O. Davidson of Jefferson City was called from that place last Sunday in consultation with Dr. O.E. Amos of Lohman, but they were unable to save the young man's life. Mr. Linhardt was a live, energetic, honest young man, much liked by all who knew him. We all must bow our heads to Him who doeth all things well, but it seems hard, indeed to give up such an energetic young man as Edwin. Besides an aged mother, he leaves two brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Henry Knernschield of Elston; Mrs. Fred Knernschield, Lohman; and Mrs. Wm. Geminhardt of Jefferson City. Otto who lives near Lohman, and Nick who is employed at Kautsch & Linhardts at Lohman, are the surviving brother
