Russellville Rustler, Friday January 31, 1908 The remains of Samuel Houston Kelly, aged about 77 years, who died at Joplin, Mo., last Friday were brought to Russellville Monday morning and interred in the Enloe Cemetery near this place. Mr. Kelly had been in failing health for some time and the immediate cause of his death was old age and a complication of diseases. Deceased was well known to almost all of the older residents of Russellville, he having spent the early part of his life at this place, where he had a long list of friends and relatives. Mr. Kelly had been married twice, three children being born to each union. His first wife's maiden name was Eliza Enloe, who was a sister of the late Uncle Enoc Enloe. John F. and George Kelley and Mrs. Caladonia Simpson were the children born to this union, all of which survive him except Mrs. Simpson. He was afterwards married to Mrs. Sarah C. Welton, sister of Ike George of this place and to this union were born three sons all of which survive. They are Rufus, William and Finis. Funeral services were conducted from the residence at Joplin by the pastor of the M.E. Church South, after which the remains were brought to Russellville and laid to rest in the Enloe Cemetery amid a large crowd of sorrowing friends and relatives.
