Obituary: Jefferson City Post Tribune, Wednesday, April 22, 1992 Gladys M. Karr, 89, Iberia, died Monday at Ozark Care Center in Osage Beach. She was born Jan. 8, 1903, in Wayham, a daughter of John and Martha Miller Wilson. She was married Feb. 8, 1926, to T.J. Howser, who died Oct. 24, 1936. She was married July 16, 1938, in Eldon, to Elmer Karr, who survives. She had been employed as a postal clerk in Iberia from 1947 until her retirement in 1973. She was a member of Honey Springs Baptist Church near Brumley and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Iberia. Other survivors include: two sons, Ray Howser, Kaiser, and Tommy Howser, Stoutland; two daughters, Joretta Allee, Jackson, and Donna S. Wisner, Eldorado Springs; two stepsons, Charles Karr, Marcellus, Mich., and Howard Karr, Kansas City; two stepdaughters, Emma Bishop, Longview, Texas, and Eula M. Powell, Littleton, Colo.; 21 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home, Iberia. The Rev. Charles Caldwell and the Rev. Arthur Gormley will officiate. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to Honey Springs Baptist Church.
