My grandmother, Rose L. Frazell Denton, was Edward L. Frazell's sister. Your message seemed to indicate that you were especially interested in following Clarissa Mead, who married Edward. I really don't have any info on her and very little on Edward, other than where his parents and his brother Noble are buried and just basic info on his other siblings. My family always called Edward's wife "Bell" or "Belle," I don't know how they would have spelled it. That must have been her nickname or maybe it was her middle name, but I'm glad to know that her real name was "Clarissa" and I'll note that in my info. I do remember my grandmother saying that she played bridge with Belle. Sorry I don't have more information to share with you. If you are looking for any specific information however, I'll be glad to see if I can find it in what I have on the Lemuel Louis Frazell family line. Thanks for the message. "Hello Fellow Family Researchers!" Might any of you be familar with the family of: H. J. McCLINTOCK whose family shows in the 1850 and 1860 census for Clinton Co., MO. H. J. is cited as having been born in Kentucky, approximately 1805/7 He was married to an unknown to me as yet lady in Kentucky about 1830, by whom he had at least three known children: Margaret, b abt 1832, KY John, b abt 1835, KY and Mary, b abt 1838, KY His first wife evidently died about 1838/39, as he remarried to Violet CRAIG, 16 Jun 1840, Harrison Co., KY, and by whom he had another daughter, Martha McCLINTOCK, b abt 1842, MO. >From published burial records for Clinton Co., MO, I have the dates of birth and death for H. J. McCLINTOCK as having been: 23 Jun 1805 to 25 Jul 1878 Try as I have, I have yet to learn his full name, or what might have happened to any of his four known to me children. Keeping my fingers crossed that one or more of you might possibly recognize this family! Craig "Always Looking for Cousins!"

Author: merit85421 Surnames: Dunlap, Johnson, Early, Proctor Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.clinton/1690/mb.ashx Message Board Post: 1850 Census for Clinton Co. MO lists a James Dunlap, age 35, birthplace Tennessee and wife Eliza Ann, age 30? birthplace Missouri. Trying to find a marriage record or other information about wife Eliza Ann, maiden name unknown, but she possibly moved to Texas and married a Nathaniel W. Johnson in Burnet County in 1855. Would also like to find out what happened to James Dunlap or who his family might be. Have found other Dunlaps in TX, a E.N. Dunlop/Dunlap who was listed on Nathaniel Johnson's brother, James, probate record in Bastrop Co. TX. Dunlap's wife may have been Narcissa (maiden name unknown, birthplace TN ) or she may be the E N Dunlap listed. I tracked Narcissa to 1880-1910 Bell County Texas census, then to 1920 Tarrant Co. TX where she was now with the last name Early. Not positive if there is any relation at all between James Dunlop and Narcissa, or just coincidences popping up with my Johnson's. If anything sounds familiar, please contact me. Sincerely, Kim Fairchild ps. I have some evidence that Elizabeth's maiden name might be Proctor/Procter but unsure. *this message is also posted under dunlap surname Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
