    1. [MOCLINTO] Thomas F. Walker
    2. James L. Danley
    3. Dear List, I am seeking any information on Thomas F. Walker, from the following census records: 1860 Platte Clinton CO., MO T. F. Walker 40 farmer 3000 500 KY Sarah 27 MO (Error, actually s/b KY) Emma 4 MO Willes 1 MO 1870 Clinton CO.,MO HH106-107 Thomas F. Walker 51 farmer 4000 1000 KY Sarah F. 36 KY Emma 13 MO William 10 MO Letha 3 MO H. Daniels 23 (male) works on farm Ohio 1880 Clinton CO., MO HH95 T. F. Walker 57 farmer KY NC KY Sarah 47 KY KY KY Emma 23 dau MO Will 20 son MO Lettie 12 dau MO I suspect that Thomas F. Walker is somehow related to my great grandfather, James William Walker, who was born in 1866 in Lincoln Co., TN. While his father (Aaron Lee Walker) was also born (Abt. 1840) in Lincoln Co., TN, his grandfather (Smith L. Walker) was born (1809) in North Carolina. Thomas F. Walker's father, if the 1880 census is accurate, was born in North Carolina. Now obviously that would be a stretch to suspect a connection simply based on births from a particular state. It actually turns out that Thomas F. Walker's widow, Sarah "Sallie" Branham Walker, is LISTED with the exact same address (431 Symmes St.) as my great grandfather in the 1908 and 1910 Norman City Directory (Cleveland Co., OK). But in spite of her being listed with the same address in the directories, she is actually enumerated with her son-in-law, Roland Hughes, in both the 1900 and 1910 Cleveland Co., OK censuses. I have a birthdate of 1836 for their son, so was curious since the name is not necessarily common. Thank you. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
