My grandmothers maiden name was Roberts. Her parents were John Henry and Margaret Elizabeth Roberts. She had 2 brothers, Charles (Dick) and Jim. A lot of her family is buried at Frazier Cemetery which is a few miles from Gower. If you have anyone in particular that you are searching for at Antioch Cemetery, I would be willing to stop by there and take photographs. It is right on 169 highway as you come into Gower from the north. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have a revolver with his name on it. This revolver is priceless. The gun is engraved with sailing ships. The wooden box set includes gun powder pouch, ammo, and ball ammo sizer. I found your other postings dating back to 2000 ... you have been searching such a long time! There are several McIvers buried in Oregon, including a "Scotty" and his wife "Dottie". (Don't you wish everyone would put their real names on their stones? LOL) Scotty's dates are illegible, and apparently Dottie was still alive when the stone was purchased. Anyway, in the same cemetery are Alexander C, Charlotte, Katherine E, and Robert C. Do those sound like family names? Somewhere, you or a reply mentioned Marshall McIver. There is also a Marshall buried in Oregon. You can find these graves documented at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gsr&GSln=McIver&GSiman=1&GSst=39& Hope that helps a little. BALDWIN marriage lines to see if any could be related and saw your posting on LOUISA BEATTY. ABNER V. BALDWIN (1812-1864) married SARAH BEATTY (1814-1900) in Clinton Co 14Feb1840. We thought Sarah's last name was Baty. However Paxton's Annals of Platte Co. spelled it Beatty with her father noted as JOSEPH BEATTY. Headstone also states Beatty. They moved to Platte Co. in 1844 where both are buried. Abner and Sarah had 11 children two of whom were named Lucinda and Louisa. We are in the 4th child lineage of George Washington Baldin who moved to Oregon. In following land purchase records and marriages I have found: Abner V. Baldwin purchased land in Clinton Co in 1838 Isaac D. Baldwin(abt 1816-1848). Purchased same date Land adjoining Abner was purchased by Davis Duncan in 1839 (m. abt 1838 Lucinda Baldwin abt b1816-bef d1850). Charles Pryor (m.1834 Katherine Baldwin) bought land in 1839 . Cynthia Baldwin m. 1842 William S. Williams. Andrew Baldwin (m.Polly Munkers) I do not know if all the Baldwins are related but they are all in the 1840 census in Clinton Co. Is any one aware of a genealogy book written on the seven Baldwin brothers who were originally in Connecticut? That could be our lead.
