Hi, list. I have just received some wonderful records from my late mother-in-law and discovered that the family has roots in Clay County. Is anyone working on BROOKS in this county? I have three generations so far, but very sketchy info about each: Robert Dale BROOKS, b. 24 May 1898 in Louisville, Clay Co. Parents were Charles Preston Brooks and Donna Innes/Inez Little/Littell. He was one of at least three children, but I do not know their names or the birth order. Charles Preston BROOKS m. Donna Innes/Inez Little/Littell in Clay Co. on 09/14/1892. He is listed on Robert's birth certificate as a farmer. Donna's birthplace is given as Green Castle, Indiana. Robert's father, Charles Preston BROOKS, b. circa 1864 in Bible Grove, Clay Co. Parents were William Brooks & Priscilla Lewis. Charles's father, William BROOKS, m. Priscilla Lewis in Clay Co. on 01/03/1863. Any leads will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Susan in PA
