Joel Rice, 47, born in KY Mary E., 38, Born in KY Henry J., 16, born in MO Fannie H., 14, born in KY Ida, 12, born in MO Lizzie, 10, born in MO Herbert, 6, born in KY John D., 4, born in MO Emmet, 1, born in MO I also noticed a James family living next door. David 36, born in KY Maria, 34, born in KY Both were listed as farmers with wifes keeping house. Appears the Rice family traveled back and forth to KY. There is another Joel Rice in Clay in 1870 but is only 13 years old. One of seven children of a John Rice, age 45 or 48. No spouse listed with him. I found them in Hays County, TX in 1880. It shows where his parents were born as well. I dug out my census CD's to copy to save time. I don't know how they will post so if you can't make it out, let me know.
