Jean Vandruff Haldiman, former resident of Gladstone, MO, and graduate of North Kansas City High School, died Tuesday, September 23, 2003, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge, LA. She was 70 and had been a resident of Baton Rouge for almost 30 years. Visitation and memorial service were held at her daughter's church in Slaughter, LA on Thursday, September 25. Burial of cremains service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 27, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Haldiman is survived by her husband, Jerrold T. Haldiman Ph.D. of the home; daughter, Catherine H. Jones and her husband, Kenneth S. Jones, Zachary, LA; son, Jay T. Haldiman and his wife, Rena H. Haldiman, Friendswood, TX; and grandsons, Joshua S. Jones, Stephen T. Jones, Jason T. Haldiman and James T. Haldiman. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the First Baptist Church Youth Fund, 3227 Church St., Slaughter, LA 70777 with "Jean Haldiman memorial" on the Memo line.
