Marriage # 2: For William Wilkinson (after 1826) wife unknown Children: (3) 1. James WILKINSON James married Miss Wallace in Lexington, MO A daughter of Mr. Tom Wallace, Captain of the militia. They (which family?) crossed the plains in 1853. (I have often wondered if this Wilkinson family traveled with "our" Stubblefield family west to CA?) He (James Wilkinson?) was Justice of the Peace in Oroville, CA until 1857. They then lived in Napa, CA until 1861 (same area and timeframe as "our" Stubblefields?) when they moved to Washoe City, Nevada where they ran a hotel until James died in 1866. 2. John WILKINSON John graduated in medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. He married Angela Oliver there and moved to Lexington, MO in 1847 where he became a farmer.
