Hello listers, First time to this group. My grandmother, Bessie Miller, died in Clay Co., either Smithville or Kansas City, MO, on February 8, 1976. Her maiden name was Payton, and she had been a widow for many years. There is the possibility that her obit also included the name of Hendrix in her name - long story - I am interested in any obits for my dear grandmother for this date. Possible names to check are: Bessie Payton Miller, Bessie Miller Hendrix, Bessie Miller or Bessie Hendrix.
