She died on May 2, 1889 and was described as the wife of R. B. Popham and was age 52. This was in newspaper records of a local paper called the Bideford Gazette. Bideford is a small town on the coast of North Devon, England. There were lots of Pophams many of whom were Master Mariners and ships captains and travelled all over the world.There is also a birth announcement for the same family of a daughter born in Torronto on Sept 21st, 1875.
