Hello, Does anyone know where Chandler, Missouri is? I cannot find it on my atlas. My great-uncle, Monte DALE had lived in Mosby and Excelsior Springs most of his life but died at the county farm in Chandler in 1957 and is buried there, according to my notes. I would like to find out how I might access records to learn more about when he came there. Monte had been a professional boxer and was apparently quite a colorful character around Excelsior Springs at one time and he is certainly one of the most colorful characters in my family tree so I would very much like to learn more about his life. Christine, I find Chandler on 2 old maps. It is located in Township 52 north, Range 31 and in the SW of section 21. An older map shows it was probably an old RR town. It is on the old Burlington RR between Kearney and Liberty very near highways 69 and 33, as stated by Marsha. I found a Timothy Dale and a Weekly Dale having original land grants in Sections 7, 17 and 18 dated in the 1830's. This is in Fishing Township.
