That family stayed in MO and the four daughters married either a Coffman or a Tipton, not a Lawson. Also there was one brother named Anderson Richardson. All these children are mentioned in the will of their mother, Frances, who was married twice after the death of Amos Richardson and NEVER left Missouri.

The one in Clay Co had her will probated there and had the children that where named in her will. Her daughters married the Coffman brothers and the Tipton brothers and she had one son named Anderson Richardson. The "other" Frances Richardson must be the one in Hardin Co, KY.

My 4 th great grandfather was Senix Lawson. He married Susan Richardson in Hardin County,KY Dec. 22,1840. Do you have any more info on him? I recently was sent some info that believe William Samuel Lawson that married Mary Polly Richardson was his parents. Do you know anything about this? From my figuring that would make Mary and Susan half sisters and one would be Senix's mother and one his wife. Does this seem possible to you? I can also do look ups for Hardin county marriages if you need a particular one. I have all of Amos' children but 3. They are Elizabeth, William J and Ruthy. On Susan's it has her mother Frances giving consent and William J. as surety. Thank You, Tabatha tabasco7992@yahoo.com

I do have a couple of corrections based on information I found after posting that message. 1. Parker Bryan was born May 22, 1818 in Shelby Co., KY and died July 5, 1863 in Lane Co., OR. 2. Lucinda (Maupin) Bryan was born Dec. 19, 1818 in Clay Co., KY and died in 1897 at Pullman, Whitman Co., WA. The Lucinda Bryan who died in Lane Co., OR in 1916 was a different Lucinda Bryan. 3. Although I have no new information on Francis, I beleive I found him in Missouri in the 1850 census and that he did come to Oregon with Parker. He probably ended up in Washington Co., OR where Elizabeth is buried. I would be interested in compareing data and also trading data via e-mail. My address is jahopper@snohomish.net

Don't know anything about your Monty Dale but was wondering if he was a descendant of either Timothy R Dale or Louisa Price Dale (widow of David Dale) who both moved from Ky to Mo in 1820s or 1830s? Louisa was a sister to my 5th great grandfather. Kathy Hall kentucky
Hello, I'm wondering if anyone might have or know of the best place to find information on my great-uncle Fremont "Monty" DALE who was a professional boxer in the 1920s from Fishing River township. He was supposed to have been very good, almost a champion and I'm told a lot of Clay county residents went to see his matches. He was nearly killed in a match, but I don't know when or what year this might have happened. I would like to track down newspaper clippings or other information on him and his career, as well as his brother Albert Dale, who was my grandfather and also a professional boxer for a time. I would be very grateful for any assistance provided and would be happy to reimburse for copies of any materials found. Sincerely, Christine Dale Coggon, Iowa

In August, 1984 I after the death of my husband I had an auction held at the Pleasant Valley Community Center and being in dismay my family bible dating back to 1830 got mixed in with other books together with my great grandmother's cottage physician. I have tried effortlessly to locate both...but particularly the Bible. The name of the person that it belonged to was Rebecca Jane Stokes Blythe. If you know of or have any knowledge of these please notify me. I would be willing to buy them back. I am sure they were put in a box with a lot of books. Hopefully, Vivian James
Vivian, I hope that someone can help you locate the Bible. What a sad loss for you. BTW, was the sale at the Pleasant Valley that is between Liberty and Gladstone? Or, was it the one that is in southwest Missouri? (I ask because I have seen your message on more than one list today.)
