Hi, list. I have just received some wonderful records from my late mother-in-law and discovered that the family has roots in Clay County. Is anyone working on BROOKS in this county? I have three generations so far, but very sketchy info about each: Robert Dale BROOKS, b. 24 May 1898 in Louisville, Clay Co. Parents were Charles Preston Brooks and Donna Innes/Inez Little/Littell. He was one of at least three children, but I do not know their names or the birth order. Charles Preston BROOKS m. Donna Innes/Inez Little/Littell in Clay Co. on 09/14/1892. He is listed on Robert's birth certificate as a farmer. Donna's birthplace is given as Green Castle, Indiana. Robert's father, Charles Preston BROOKS, b. circa 1864 in Bible Grove, Clay Co. Parents were William Brooks & Priscilla Lewis. Charles's father, William BROOKS, m. Priscilla Lewis in Clay Co. on 01/03/1863. Any leads will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Susan in PA

This will include parents name, including mothers maiden name and where they were living at the time of the application. I believe the cost is now $27 and available thru the Social Security Administration. Eula's was issued in Kansas. Best of luck. Chuck
