Edwards, 88, of Wyaconda, Mo., formerly of Loveland, died May 27, 2003, at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill. Graveside services were May 30 at Gorin Cemetery in Gorin, Mo. She was born July 1, 1914, in Clark County, Mo., to William and Della Dewitt Brown. She married Raymond Glasgow, and four children were born to this union. She later married Perry Kitson, and to this union four children were born. He preceded her in death. She then married Wayne Edwards. He also preceded her in death. She had lived in Lewis and Clark County, Mo., most of her life and had lived in Loveland in the late 1940s. She was a member of the Rutledge Baptist Church. She enjoyed making quilts, fishing and gardening. She is survived by three sons, Richard Glasgow of Wyaconda, Wilbur Glasgow of Ottumwa, Iowa, and Harold Kitson of Springfield, Mo.; four daughters, Margaret Elder and husband Gerald of Walnut Grove, Mo., Nora Ludwig and husband Lyle, Nina Doran, and Noma Genck and husband Mike, all of Canton, Mo.; three sisters, Lois Phipps and Fern Orback, both of Loveland, and Elsie Myers of Fort Collins; several grandchildren, including Cheryl Aldridge and Linda Ferrell, both of Loveland; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Darlene Elder, four sisters, Eula Jean Brown, Evelyn M. Brown in infancy, Opal Irvin and Viola Aldridge of Loveland, three brothers, W.L. Sam Brown, Raymond E. Brown and Raymond R. Brown in infancy, and a grandson, Edward Aldridge of Loveland. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer’s Association. Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, Mo., was in charge of arrangements.
