Hi Group, I live in Oregon and just returned from a research trip to Missouri, and Illinois, and I know this may be a little off "what we are suppose to do on the list" but I just wanted to let people know how wonderful and how helpful some people on this list really are. One list person referred me to just the right person in St. Patrick, Missouri and I am ever so thankful as this person went out of her way two different times to meet with me and share what she could find about my Bennett family., Then this lady's son took me to cemeteries and helped me to find tombstone for about two dozen members of the Bennett family from back in the early 1800's. A special thanks to them... I also want to commend the group of ladies who volunteer at the Lewis County Historical Society in Canton, Missouri as they are very helpful, funny and their library is very well organized. If they didn't have the information there at the library they knew who to call to find out for you. Really a great group of ladies. Everyone I met were helpful and very friendly I couldn't have asked for a nicer group..... My trip was a great success thanks to the help of many, especially Mary on this list.
