I too am interested in Morrison history... most notably the Archibald Morrison (b 1811 d.1864) family that moved to Clark County and purchased land there around 1838 (Several hunderd acres in all). In 1855 they moved to Saline County (central Missouri), my guess is over the slavery issue. Clark County land grant names associated include Archibald, William B., Robert S. Morrison and Robert C.
