Peggy, I totally understand your frustrations with trying to obtain information. I visited the cemetery in Kahoka and was quite dismayed with their having no records. I recently purchased a death certificate from a town here in Minnesota. The information gave me the birth place (though it just said Missouri), date of birth, and both parent's names. If you have to pay for the death certificate, it's well worth the price. Let me know if you need anything in Minnesota. Good luck! Joan
