    3. Well you got lucky - my husband doesn't like any part of it. Something about "too busy living - to worry about the dead." Thanks for the offer..may need it, if I can ever track down the parents of my Lucy Ann Carter Roberts Colwell. She and her husband and youngest son, are all buried in Keokuk. I just visited their graves in April. Pretty much know where everyone else is buried - out in Frazee Cemetery and Sand Cemetery around Wayland, MO. Just don't know about her parents yet. Hoping I'll come across someone with the 1870 census who may have them. Got her death certificate today, ? Carter listed as father and Unknown for mother. One last hope is that she married her 1st husband, John Roberts in Clark Co., and just ordered their marriage certificate from Kahoka a few days ago - hopefully, she was under the age of 18 (I suspect she was or she was exactly 18) and they'll have the names of her parents on her marriage certificate. Keeping my fingers crossed, that I'll finally get lucky. Will hopefully, have the 1900 census for Vernon Twp transcribed in the next couple of weeks and Bob will post on the Rootsweb site. Then I'll continue on to the next town - I've already searched it for mine and couldn't find anyone other than in Vernon Twp - do you have any preference for the next town I'll transcribe? I'll try and help you out and in the meantime, if I come across any more Piersons, I'll let you know. Tracy nauvoo@interpath.com PS Most people think I live in Nauvoo, but I'm actually in the Navy and stationed in Norfolk, VA right now. However, my husband and I bought an acre of land off of Hwy 96 right outside of Nauvoo, and will eventually retire to that land. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jay & Karla Jefferson <jeffersn@rnet.com> To: <MOCLARK-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, July 10, 2000 5:21 PM Subject: Re: [MOCLARK-L] CAREY/WILLIFORD/JOHNSON/MYERS/PIERSON > I will be glad to pass on any info that I find on that name.
